Four Nine Six
A great day was made greater when I found out the Red Sox won and the Yanks lost. We were in Danbury for the Neil Hamburger/flea market event. It was really cool to see all my CT friends. Kim sold her soaps, we saw Neil (who mentioned Kim--"the soapmaker"--in his set!), played kickball (my Strawbwerry Cheesecake squad 9, Kim's Marauders 7, 6 inn.), ate lots of food, and watched the movie King of Kong. Heard nothing about the baseball scores until we got back to my parents' place in New Haven.
So it looks like Manny's at 496 now. Should he reach 500 between Sunday and Tuesday, Leggett will win the contest. Wednesday would be a tie, and any time between Thursday and April 29th, Dori wins. Beyond that--well, we'll cross that span when we arrive at its starting point. All the predicted dates are here.
Another one of the Yanks' many assumed Cy Young winners (because they say so) was roughed up yet again. So funny. They drop to 9-10. Their boxscore is here, and comes with weird true/false notations. (See the Orioles' hitting stats.)
Speaking of that horrible organization, they still can't admit they threw at Manny. If you're gonna do it, do it, but have a little dignity and admit it.
Sadly, John Marzano, former Red Sox catcher, died today at 45.

I lost THAT Projection, when Manny Got Tossed in the 2nd on the 3rd Strike Call-Dispute:
But the 8th Inning was surely-memorable, down in GS3, Row 12 , Seat 22, while standing as if at an English Football Match, as I live Blogged Part of The 8th Inning.
