G. Damn

Just finished watching O's-Yanks on MLBN. Got to see the 9th-12th, on the O's feed. Balty had chances to win, but couldn't score. Yanks finally push one across in the 12th, and Mo saves it with his special strike zone. And with that, we're all alone in last place at 1-4.

Eckersley called Bard "mediocore" tonight. I didn't think so. One really hard-hit ball before his last inning, when he left with a 3-1 deficit. Two of his runners scored, making his line mediocore, but his performance not so bad. What do you want, it was his first major league start....

Maybe if we'd scored some runs for him we'd be talking about the W he got tonight. Crucial inning-ending double play ball by Youk with first and third, down by 2, in the sixth. Then the Jays quickly make it 7-1. We almost had an amazing comeback in the 9th. After 2 scored, Papi came up with the tying run on deck and 2 outs. But he watched an 0-2 pitch right down the middle-ish. And 7-3 is your final.

Wednesday we play the final game of the trip at 12:37, then a day off before the home opener on Friday. It's supposed to be 60 and sunny in Boston, then going up to the 70s over the following few days.
