Notice how we don't even get box scores for the "B" games? In 1912, you'd get a box score from an intrasquad game! The regular Red Sox beat the "yannigans,"* as reported 100 years ago today in the Providence paper.Speaking of yannigans, the 2012 Futures doubleheader tickets go on sale Saturday. Presale going on now if you really wanna make sure you get those awesome seats that you could probably get anyway since there are lots of empties on that day. But if you want in, e-mail me and I'll give you the password. I noticed no Monster or EMC are available in this sale, though.
