I heard the Florida Marlins will be called the Miami Marlins starting next year. You hear that?

i hadn't heard that. but i like it. i'm from miami- and it would be nice to make even more of a separation from horrible tampa. marlins are my national league team. rays are one of my most irksome...

I heard that part of the deal that the Marlins got the site of the old Orange Bowl to build a new park was that they had to change their name to Miami. The Miami Marlins was actually an old-time AAA team as well.
