July 17th In Red Sox Vs. Rays History
We've played the Rays once on this date. 2002. On the road. We won 6-1. Ugly game for the Devil Rays, who walked in two runs and threw two wild pitches and fell to 29 games out of first. Lowe got the win, Guapo pitched the ninth. Manny and Trot went deep.(Forgot to say yesterday that we have never played them on July 16th.)
Yanks up 5-2 in the 6th, we play tonight.
[Update: Assholes win, so we have to win to stay 1.5 ahead.]
