FIRST PLACE
Yanks blow a 3-0 lead and lose 4-3 to Seattle. Jeter did his trademark of making the final out. So we're in first place all alone. Yanks are a game back, Tampa 1.5.

There were gunshots on our street (could have been fireworks, but four cruisers showed up regardless) just a few minutes before the Yanks game ended. I'd like to think this represented their death knell!
