Pet Peeve Number Googol
I hate when someone says "nobody could've predicted that." Obviously it's worse when they're talking about something I did predict, but even if that's not the case, when someone says that, instead of just saying, "I was wrong," they're implying that the only reason they were wrong is because there was no correct option available to them. Which is clearly not true in any game with two teams, or in almost any other situation in the world.
