Speaking of brutal, we've had such a weird winter here. It's like South Park. Just a constant snowcover that won't melt. Finally today after three or four more inches of snow--officially putting me in the Top Shovelers' Club, Inc.--we got some hard rains. So now the sidewalk in front of our house is a moat, with piles of snow on each side.
More gray envelopes arrived today. Which means our Yankee fan mailwoman is officially NOT stealing my Sox tickets. Either that or she's lulling me into a false sense of security.
