What Our Soldiers Are Made To Do

Part 1:

Part 2 (gets cut off at end after he finishes story):

Laura has been talking about Winter Soldier a lot. For more info, start there.

Thank you for posting these. Hats off to you, sir.

Thank you so much for posting this, Jere.

Thank you for watching some of Winter Soldier.

I was lucky enough to get an invite to the event, and spent the weekend there... Not only was the testimony harrowing and amazing, beyond words really, but it had an enormous effect despite the mainstream media blackout.

While the Washington Post (the only major media to cover it) buried a story in the metro section, troops on bases around the world had heard about it and were watching.

After Tom Morello played a concert for attendees, someone took the mic and announced that a Staff Sergeant in Iraq had myspaced him, saying that he and eight of his men had been watching and wanted to know what they could do.

Similar stories poured in from all over, and IVAW.org (Iraq Veterans Against the War) was overwhelmed with applications for new memberships.

Soldiers refusing to fight will ultimately be what ends these occupations, and we should do everything we can to support GI resisters!

"Soldiers refusing to fight will ultimately be what ends these occupations, and we should do everything we can to support GI resisters!"

Yay Jason! Everyone who agrees should visit CourageToResist.org and Resisters.ca to learn what they can to do help.
