Elipses
Went to the place called "Southie" yesterday for the first time. It was cool. Did "planespotting" on the beach, as the flew into Big Papi right over our heads. It was a tight race, but American beat JetBlue, 5-4. The first plane we saw when we got there was Aer Lingus. So there we were in the hub of the Irish universe, and this huge shamrock cruises right past us. Then we flipped on my 1980 Olympics transistor radio, and Irish music started playing....
We were able to get 680, too, so we got to hear the awesome 1-0 win. I'll get you your JPotG winner later, as I'm off to Fenway with dad....

You were in Southie? That's where I live. Did you go to Sully's at Castle Island? Because you can't go to Southie without going to Sully's and getting a hot dog.

We sure did go to Castle Island! By accident, but we were glad we went! And I totally remember that place--it said "Sullivan's" along the top, and you've answered my question, that they indeed call it Sully's. We would've gone but A. we were about to go to dinner, and B. the line was really long anyway. My girlfriend and I agreed that it looked like an awesome summery/beachy place.

Yeah, that's where I work. The food's pretty awesome. Everyone goes there, and if it's nice out, the line is always gonna be long, but it's totally worth it. For instance today my shift was 10:30 - closing, so I worked a 12 hour day. And since it was gorgeous out, the line never stopped so it was hot dogs and ice creams non-stop.
Ah well, I get free food on my breaks so I can't complain all that much. =)
