Papi, Pap, Pitchers, Players, Possibilities
That's Big Papi after the Sox win over the Yanks from last Saturday. Below is the video of Papelbon coming into the same game, if you missed it.
I did a post on Baseball Digest about Red Sox pitchers who played the field/fielders who pitched throughout history. There have been 43 Boston players who have both pitched and played the field. (I'd done another post which inspired the full list, right after Lopez played right and Van Every pitched the other day.)
Mike Dee is out, and rumor has it Kapstein may be in, as Red Sox CEO...maybe the headphones have been a direct line to the situation...
