Keep Opening That Crap-Hole, Hank
Human version of bugs that feed off of pig fecal matter speaks again.
This time he's giving up on his team, and saying that (despite having the biggest payroll by far) that there's "nothing you can do." Daddy's two biggies were winning and breathing. Looks like the evil spawn is more of an "oh well, what are ya gonna do" type.
He turns into a psychopath (and breaks his own "I won't talk anymore about the Red Sox this year" rule) with this gem: "If the Red Sox lost (Josh) Beckett and (Jon) Lester, the whole national media would be crying about it. We lose two guys better than Beckett and Lester (Wand and Chamberlain) and you don't hear anything."
Besides the fact that he's wrong about which two guys are better (hint: it's the two with the rings), what the hell does he mean about the national crying? Why would they ever cry about anyone being injured? What does that mean? And if he would like the national media to talk MORE about the completely unproven headhunter, Joba Chamberlain...my god, I think they've already added a new ESPN channel to cover his every step as it is.
And if he wants to talk about devastating rashes of injuries, and use them as an excuse (excuses: the new Yankee way), he can go ahead and hand over that '06 AL East crown whenever.
There are plenty of reasons why the Yanks stink this year, as many of us predicted they would. To say "injuries" is the reason why is to assume three completely unproven starters WOULD have done well. Admit when you're wrong, and when you stink, Hank.
God, I hope Josh Beckett sees that line about Wang being better than him. I mean, Hank must've been watching when he literally made the final putout in the '03 World Series at Yankee Stadium after shutting out "murderers' row" and being named World Series MVP. And then won another World Series four years later from the Yanks' division. Another fun exercise is comparing Beckett's postseason stats to Wang's...
